This simple effort for the Partnership for a Drug Free America was rewarding for a couple of reasons. At its heart, the piece is about mothers and the powerful role they play in a child’s life—from the moment they enter the world to the point where bad decisions can begin.

The clients were thrilled and the spot resonated strongly with the audiences it was meant to reach. The work received an AICP award and now resides in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. It was also named one of Adweek’s Best Spots.

A small tribute, in a way, to powerful mothers everywhere.
