As P.F. Chang’s began to lose cultural momentum, we repositioned the brand through a seasonal platform anchored in food, story, and authorship — led by Head Chef Yuji Iwasa.
The work centered on rediscovering the brand’s origin story — including the often-overlooked presence of founder Philip Chiang — and translating it into a contemporary system that connected culinary credibility with modern behavior.
This included the development of an interactive, shoppable video experience and a redefined food photography approach — establishing a cohesive visual and digital language across channels.
The result was a refreshed brand presence that reestablished relevance, strengthened perception, and aligned product, story, and experience into a unified system.
